London _ Soho _ Japanese
Koya Bar
CityHood's Review
Concept
This authentic and friendly Japanese restaurant concentrates on one type of cooking – udon noodle (the fat, round ones) perfectly cooked. Most tables are communal, so budge up and get ready to share.
Food & Drinks
The udon are made fresh on-site, daily. There’s a great variety of local fresh ingredients – seafood from London markets, and British and Asians vegetables sources in farms locally.
The Atsu-Atsu – hot noodles in a hot broth – and Hiya-Atsu – hot broth with cold noodles on the side – brings the great freshness and quality to life.
We Love
The setting – you can eat at the bar and watch the preparation of your dishes
Price
From £6.90 for Atsu-Atsu, Hiya-Hiya or Hiya-Atsu
Tips
The restaurant is quite small so get there early, the queue can be long
