London _ Chelsea _ Restaurant
Chicama
CityHood's Review
Concept
From the team that brought Peruvian party spirit to Marylebone with one of our picks, Pachamama, comes Chicama: a meat-free Peruvian inspired restaurant in Chelsea, serving Cornish-caught fish and Japanese influences. With the same eclectic vibe of repurposed furniture and flavourful dishes, this is a top spot for a feed.
Food & Drinks
The menu relies heavily on the freshly-caught fish, and changes depending on what is caught daily. The Japanese influences and Peruvian inspiration bring fire, delicacy and surprise to a whole host of dishes; from pisco cocktails with cherry to grilled fish and, our fave, blackened octopus with sun-dried tomato chimichurri.
We love
How instagram-worthy the splattered and colourful dishes are – especially when photographed at the bar that faces into the open kitchen
